Who am I?
Although many of you know me as Zen Malori Fetcher, my true name is Nathan. I was born in central Kansas and have lived there for 20 years. Yup, that's how old I am too! Currently, I reside in California in the Bay Area.
I am a musician by heart, the piano my medium of choice. I've been playing piano since I was five years old. Although I never learned how to read music, I learned how to play by ear and over became fairly talented over time. Later on in my life, I ended up picking up the trombone where I placed 1st chair in my high school band and 7th chair in KMEA (Kansas Music Educators Association).
After I joined a local rock band, I started performing live at many places until due to a lot of stress, I left the band. It was then that I began to play the drums and guitar and began to record my own compositions.
Around the same time, I started to role play on various MUCKs (Multi-User Chat Kingdoms). Thus, Zen was born. On April 30th, 2008, I created Zen Malori Fetcher and quickly grew attached to him as well as the Furry community. Taking up an interest with a lot of Furry artwork, I soon began teaching myself to draw and became a visual media artist. I'm no professional, but I am quite happy with what I can do.
